The Pocket Review, as you may have heard ten trillion times, is staffed by volunteers. The editors are a small, dedicated bunch with not much money to our names. However, we learn quickly, and we are dedicated like you wouldn't believe.
As the journal grows, we'd love to expand—that means paying editors and contributors, publishing more often, and generally giving back to our readership. Offering contests, maybe, with a generous cash prize for the best short story or most outstanding poem. And we would love—truly love—to give away an Amazon Kindle. Also on our list? Forming a writers' retreat where members actually come together to work in person. But we can't do it without capital.
That's where you, the loyal reader, come in.
